About the Journal

The Private Law Journal (ISSN 2775-9555) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Law at the University of Mataram. Established in 2021, the journal focuses on civil law and related legal studies, providing a platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to publish original research and legal analyses.

A Brief Overview of Private Law

  • Focus and Scope: The journal covers a broad range of topics within civil law, including contract law, torts, property law, family law, inheritance law, and other areas pertinent to private law.

  • Publication Frequency: It is published three times a year, with issues released in February, June, and October.

  • Open Access: The journal provides immediate open access to its content, supporting the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge. 

  • Indexing and Accreditation: The journal is indexed in SINTA (Science and Technology Index) and has received a SINTA 3 accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.

  • Editorial Policies: The journal adheres to strict publication ethics and employs a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles.
