Kegiatan KKN PMD Universitas Mataram dilaksanakan di Desa Suralaga. Program ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui produk inovatif. Cabai diolah menjadi minyak cabai bernama Chililaga yang bernilai ekonomi. Sosialisasi mencakup penyuluhan teori dan demonstrasi masak secara langsung. Kader PKK serta BUMDes berpartisipasi aktif mendukung keberhasilan program. Masyarakat memperoleh keterampilan praktis dalam produksi dan pengemasan produk. Pelatihan juga memberikan pemahaman tentang pemasaran digital yang efektif. Aspek lingkungan diperhatikan dengan edukasi pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan. Program ini mendorong tumbuhnya jiwa kewirausahaan dalam komunitas desa. Antusiasme masyarakat menunjukkan dukungan kuat terhadap inovasi Chililaga. Kegiatan ini memperkuat sinergi akademisi, pemerintah desa, dan masyarakat. Chililaga diharapkan menjadi model inovasi desa berkelanjutan nasional
